A stunning Murano Glass Bowl from our Murano Glass Sea Shell Collection. Yes, this is a glass. Not porcelane, not ceramics and not an actual shell. Murano Maestro used very old techniques called Lattimo, to create milky, not transparent and mix it with prominent brown and gentle ivory mother of pearl mix enamel glass rods, creating a beautiful pattern of a real sea shell. This technique gives the bowl amazing shell like look with a matte finish on the outside and smooth shiny finish on the insuide.

This technique, dated back almost for 8 centuries, uses similar to enamel chemical composition and was known as majolica. High Gloss and Maestro imagination created a sea shell illusion for this large Murano Glass Vase.

This excellent Murano folded bowl can serve as an impressive center piece or a decorative curio on a show shelf. Both ways it looks extremely ornamental in any room. The imaginative brown design on the ivory color makes the bowl very attractive and precious looking. Using it to hold decorative trinkets will make it even more ornate.
