Introducing a stunning large Murano Glass Platter from our Murano Glass Sea Shell Collection. Yes, this is a glass. Not porcelane, not ceramics and not an actual shell. Murano Maestro used very old techniques called Lattimo, to create milky, not transparent and mix it with rich black and gentle silvery enamel glass rod. This technique gives the bowl amazing shell like look with a matte finish on the outside and smooth shiny finish on the insuide.

This technique, dated back almost for 8 centuries, uses similar to enamel chemical composition and was known as majolica. High Gloss and Maestro imagination created a sea shell illusion for this large Murano Glass Vase.

This fabulous platter can be used as a decor item as well as a functional one. This will look highly decorative, even when it is used to hold fruits or flowers. The black and silver design gives the platter a very special look. It is wide enough to contain a considerable amount of fruits. Special ikebana arrangements also will sit admirably on this platter.
