The tradition to present decorative roosters to friends and family going back to 15th century at the time of the Renaissance in the Republic of Florence. when the morning rooster crowing awaked the guards and prevented assassination of the members of the  Medici family. This Murano Glass Rooster with the high head is truly magnificent.

Murano Maestro used so many pieces of blown colored glass to put together and present the spirit of the fighting rooster.

We can see so many different shadows of blue, amber, red, green and topaz glass. This sculpture has been our bestseller for many years and it really good example of imagination and creativity of Murano artisans.
